FORTH EORLINGAS

So when I was at my dad's for Thanksgiving, we sort of watched LotR1. By accident.

And then, also by accident, we went back to my place for the DVDs of the other two movies.

(Er. We did not watch them all in one night. TTT was part Friday, up to not quite the battle of Helm's Deep, and part today, and RotK was part today and we have left them with Aragorn going into the Paths of the Dead and no spiders yet.)

Faramir = still my favoritest. And I am WOEFUL because the last we saw of him he was RIDING OFF TO CERTAIN DOOM because his father loved Boromir more. ...yes, I have seen the movies /and/ read the books, I do know what happens, but. still. *sadface*

(I should pull out and finish my Faramir fic thingie, I should.)

Eomer and Eowyn = also still my favoritest. YAY ROHIRRIM *waves teensy flags*

(Now for wrath, now for ruin, and a red dawn!)

Merry and Pippin = not quite my favoritest but still awesome little hobbitses.

Legolas = still the brainlessest. Though we have not yet gotten the epic line "A diversion!"

In short, to sum up: FORTH EORLINGAS and also all the others!

Hello, internets! *waves*

Does anyone have any idea what kind of squash this might be?



It is maaaaaybe a bit bigger than it should have been because I did not realize how big it was getting. So if it looks like a breed of squash that should be smaller, do not let the size rule anything out.

(This came from our back yard, but the plant isn't ours; the vine came through the fence and sprawled like a lazy cat in a beam of sunshine across about a quarter of the yard, and has been a source of much amusement. And also, apparently, a giant-ass squash. That is hopefully not a giant ass-squash.)

And also, any ideas on how to make it into yummy goodness? Or, especially given the size, is it better off as a Decorative Gourd?
