being sick sucks
woke up this morning with lung gunk, a wet cough that makes my chest burn, a vocal nosedive into tenor territory, and general Feeling Like Crap ness.
am tired. spent most of the morning in a foggy not-sleep that comes from feeling like I'm breathing underwater (exacerbated by being horizontal, which makes it harder to cough stuff up)
am also /really freaking cold/. gahhh.
for a while I had suri curled up on my chest, a lovely fuzzy area of warmth, but she has a catlike tendency to, yanno, be where I don't want her to be and not be where I do, so she is off snoozing in the cat condo instead of warming me up.
(should probably dig out my thermometer and see if I have a fever)
ETA: as of 3, have a 100.8 fever, according to ear thermometer. not scary high but definitely a fever. also I am wearing long sleeves, long pants, and a doubled-over warm fuzzy blanket, and still feel omgcold.
