Power went out last night, probably around 3 or so. Is not up yet. Previous estimated time of restoration: 10am. (is 11:30 now). Current etr: 3pm
Things which require power:
* My bed. Which is distinctly less comfortable without the air fwoom, and my back is screaming at me.
* Internets. Only exception is my cell phone connection.
* Computer.
* Lights for seeing, and it's kinda hard to crochet in the dark.
* toaster, microwave, other methods of heating stuff
* central heat. It is cooold omg
* my sanity
Things which do not require power:
* Yahtzee
* Suri's tongue
...sigh
ETA @6pm: Power just came back on. Mind you, the extended outage was extremely localized. As in, *other building wings of my apartment complex* had power most of the day.
The only reason I am not highly pissed off is that I don't have a target to be pissed off *at*.
