ysobel | (no subject)

Today, I have accomplished:

* patch on one of my (self)assigned bugs
(technically not very praiseworthy since it was a matter of removing a link, but it was still a bug)

* started documenting styles stuff
(omg there is SO MUCH ;_; if LJ had decent doc work on S2 it would be easier, but seriously, the S2 manual is extremely pathetic, incomprehensible to people who need it, and useless to the small minority of people who understand it.)

* renamed
(hi! um. I'm still isabeau, I'm just ysobel too. been ysobel on irc -- yeah, that's me, sorry for the confusion -- for a few days. haven't changed twitter because it's already in use [go me for changing from a non-unique name to ... another non-unique name] lalala.)

* watched NCIS
("more headslaps and more Mark Harmon than any other show." heh. ♥ and the current ep has ~~Casey~~ Adam Baldwin! Yes I've seen it before, but I can rewatch NCIS almost endlessly)

* gotten some sort of lower-intestinal distress
(no more explanation needed I think)

So the big question is, what's the abbreviated form of Ysobel for people who are too lazy to type whole characters? Do we call you Yso?

Also: A patch is a patch is a patch. No matter how small or otherwise, it's still one more thing that's done. (Why yes, I did write another 2 character patch yesterday!)

Heh. Um. I decided to be lazy and let people figure out for themselves?

... Ysa seems to be the commonest, even if it is sort of a hybrid, but I can also flag yso and/or ys. And I will still respond to isa...

And yeah, I know (re patches, but given the number of baby developers we're cultivating, and given how freaking easy it was, I had a slight amount of guilt about not shepherding someone through it. (Then again, Mark pointed out that since there is an open beta deadline, it's open bug season, pretty much.)

i LOVE ncis! particularly gibbs and abby. :)

NCIS is made of awesome zomg. (And, heh. Those would happen to be my two favorites too. Closely followed by Ducky. ...did I mention that my brain all of a sudden wants me to write Gibbs/Abby?)

I do not! (...well, okay. technically, I do, but I'm not very good at it.) So if you could, that would be awesome <3

i'd love to! any ideas what you want it to look like? do you want specific characters? text added?

i threw together two icons - i have NO idea if they're the kind of style you like but if you want 'em, you can have 'em! it was like, zero effort, so don't feel bad if you're like "meh..." :D

p.s. if i ever wrote fandom, it'd be Gibbs/Abby. ;D

but i should add that i rarely watch it anymore because it's an anxiety trigger. :(
