Encanto spoilers:
My brain has started popping up little fic ideas for Encanto:

Where the hair guy thing was Bruno age 12-or-whatever just yelling "you're going to grow OLD and UGLY and BALD" in a regular childish tantrum and the guy assumes it's a Prophecy and spends years tugging at his hair to make sure it's still attached
Where Mirabel is widely read enough to be fantasy-genre savvy -- hey if Luisa can reference Hercules, why not -- and when people tell her about Bruno she goes "wait, you think he *caused* stuff?" and argues her family about why it's stupid to be fatalistic (and then the wall says a very muffled "THANK you" and everyone goes wtf and Dolores goes "oh yeah did I mention")
Or maybe she just references Cassandra lol
(I'm trying to decide if Luisa's reference means she knows Mediterranean mythology, or whether it's a narrative translation -- i.e. just like the movie is largely in English so we can understand but the characters wouldn't be speaking English if real, the Hercules reference is translated into American ... i.e. surely other cultures have the archetype of Super Strong Dude Fighting Mythical Beasts)
The not fic about the parallels of Mirabel being unGifted and disability, and of the importance of the "you are more than your job"
The fic about Mirabel being physically disabled too and oh my goodness casita would be AWESOME at accessibility 😍
