DOOOO IIIIIT.

I dabbled briefly (with Rosetta Stone rather than duolingo), and I am very bad at languages but it was fascinating to dip into something so structurally different from European languages.

Because *that* makes sense, lol. (It doesn't. But neither did welsh. I'm doing this for fun, not for any practical purpose, so why not.)

But it does make sense! If you're doing it out of pure interest rather than for a practical reason, then it's going to be especially interesting to pick languages which are outside the main European language family that (white) Westerners tend to have more familarity with.
