ysobelSo I had to go to Target to get toilet paper, and sort of came out with more stuff.
Including these:
Boots. That are *purple*. And they are easy to get on (despite the fact that my ankles are totally fused and also rather lumpy) and they fit (despite the fact that my feet are short and very wide and so usually don't do common-store shoes) and purple and kind of generally awesome.
(I also picked up some gloves -- a pair of fliptop fingerless gloves (with mitten cap that can be flipped over) and a pair of gloves with conductive thread at the tip of thumb/index -- because, while I would ideally just knit myself either of those, I am not doing much knitting right now, and it's silly to have cold hands while I wait. And some purple owl pajamas. And stuff. But I am gleefulest about the boots.)
