Power assisted wheels!

Both of the other chair users here have manual chairs with e-motion power-assist wheels, which is amazing technology so I wanted to post in case any of y'all might be interested. It's not just power assist, it's programmable, so it can help more when going up hills, or it can do more assist on days when you're tired and then less assist on better days.

They're not cheap, but they cost less than power chairs, and they're way more portable.
