Re the leg thing -- it doesn't help that I have pretty long legs, but also they're used to floppier people, with joints and stuff. So if a normal disabled person (heh) had their feet unsupported, everything would droop and something something badness. But I don't droop in the same ways. And if turned out that my feet are further back than my knees, and because they insisted on the seat correspond to my measurements, the footrests ended up too far forward and had to be chopped off and reattached.
Generally it was a bad move and I'm going to be insistent next time around...
