reasons I am not a happy ysa today

* had a dentist appointment, which I normally tolerate okay but I had to get up earlier than usual and also one of the cleaning things was this horrid super-salty ewwww-tasting spray, and also also I had to walk there and back, which takes an hour
* decided to go on an impromptu library visit, sparked by the fact that my dentist is on the same street as the library. went there, looked at hours, went "oh hey they open at ten on tuesdays and it's eleven", tried to open the door, failed, realized it was dark inside, realized /it was monday/ and on mondays they don't open until one
* went from there to campus to pick up music for chorus and had a fun but minor panic attack before escaping the bookstore. (It is less than accessible at the best of times; at the start of the quarter, when there are five million students trying to get stuff, it's impossible, especially in a wheelchair. And the customer service desk had one person on duty and a line a mile long of people paying for stuff, so I couldn't go "hey can you run downstairs to pick me up what I need".)
* we were supposed to go to the zoo today. about a week ago, one of my church friends, who is also a zoo docent, said "hey let's go to the zoo thursday", and I said "okay yay!". the entire week is nice and warm and sunny ... except for thursday, when it's grey and cloudy and windy and something else had come up non-weatherwise, so we postponed to today. weekend was nice and warm and sunny; today, grey and cloudy and windy with threats of rain. *headdesk*
* I have absolutely no desire to log in to WoW. I want to bash stuff in the face, but I'm sick of trying to deal with the stupid logging-in issues and addon issues, and I want my non-80 characters to level faster, and I hate achievements because they make me want stuff I wouldn't want otherwise, and arghflail
* and my attempts to retrieve GW login info have met with. well. they want, among other things, the retail keys used, for all campaigns on all accounts. which I /do not have/. and my memory of login info is shaky anyway because I had shortcuts that hardcoded username/password for my accounts, which means that in addition to the years it's been since I've played GW, it's been even longer since I typed in login info, and I can't remember what I used, and it is driving me insane, and even more so with the knowledge that my interest in getting back into GW has a distinct chance of evaporating quickly once I get on, if I ever do
* I just got an email that the semi-local tea shop of awesomeness is being evicted, and therefore is closing down, and closing down /online/ sales as well as IRL sales
* all attempts at creating beaded loom markers have utterly failed, I am unable to tie knots in elastic cording, all of my findings seem to have a gap just large enough for string or wire to slip through, and I managed to mysteriously lose half a barrel clasp the other day. (seriously, it vanished into thin air.)
...I keep wanting to curl up in a ball, metaphorically speaking (and omg does it suck not being able to /actually curl up/).
Okay. Um. Good things:
- season one of numb3rs, being watched with roommates. we got to Manhunt last night. /serious/ yum.
- knitting. have done three repeats of Saroyan (in, like, super-bulky, but whatever, it still works)
- I appear to be writing some numb3rs commentfic (Nothing big, but it does seem to be tending towards varying levels of porny or at least heading there. Ian/(ambiguous) and wheelchair!Colby/David -- the anons are both me, I was just being a wuss -- and Charlie/Colby)
- stephen fry on bones. ♥ "Tea is sacrosanct." bwee.
- new castle tonight. though with my luck, it will kind of suck.
