Following a pattern for a seamless (I hate seaming) baby bootie. There were two sizes -- 0-6 mos and 6-12 mos. I went with the larger, because part of my Cunning Plan is to randomly offer them to baby-wielding sorts at farmer's market.
It, er.
For one thing, the math on the larger size insists that 50 - 18 = 28 (which it so does not), but I think that's a typo.
It also is. Um. A bit too much on the big side.
Guestimating against a piece of paper, the sole is 5" long. Possibly a smidge longer. (If I flatten it out, 6", but that doesn't allow for width-of-foot.)
A year-old baby's foot is NOT THAT BIG.
(...is it?)
