WoW babblings
Feb. 5th, 2010 06:46 pmRaid seems to be "gear Ysa up" night. I'm not complaining, just amused.
Also, I am utterly in-fucking-sane. Um. This is not news, but still. Having successfully gotten Diplomat title (kill ogres until eyes bleed! run underbog, same! killewoks furbolgs, same!), as well as the pretty pretty talbuk mount, I apparently decided I would reward myself by, er, working on quests for loremaster.
...Yeeeah.
Apparently, I did not learn from Nagrand/Terokkar (10-odd quests left in each zone and nfi where to get them from), BEM/Netherstorm (which I have done all of 1 quest in and am sick of the zones anyway, which is partly the peril of this not being my first run-through of those zones), or Icecrown (where I am stuck at 128/140 and everything left is five-person group quests). \o/
At the moment, I am tromping through baby nelf lands. It is waaay beyond the point of "so easy it's boring", and my "must click sparkly corpse for loot!" reflex is taking a beating since it's not really worth filling my bags (and going back to vendors) for a handful of coppers, but, aside from that... It's actually kind of giggle-inducing, since I was doing nelf stuff fairly early on in my wow career, and the quests were omghrad at that level, plus I would think myself rich when I had a few silver. *snort* Slightly different now.
It's the right kind of mindless for right now, though.
Am pondering switching professions, though. Skinning is convenient but hardly necessary, especially if I'm going to be leveling my hunter sk/lw up, and tailoring ... well, making bags is nice, and there's flying carpets, but other than that it's a fairly useless profession for a shaman. And by 'fairly' I mean 'very'. Whatever possessed me to take a cloth craft on a mail-wearing character? (Don't answer that.)
The "but I put so much time and effort!" part of me is offended at the concept of changing professions, and so I probably won't, but if I did, now would be a decent time to do so, given the whole traipsing-around-starting-areas thing.
