Month of writing
Jul. 2nd, 2013 10:32 pmI keep trying to go back to 750words, but I stall out because 750 is a hell of a lot of words for me right now. Some days I can manage it, but most days 100 words can be a struggle. And the website only considers success to be 750+ words, which means that days where I get out 100 are failures. Which is hardly encouraging.
So to try a different tack, I am declaring July to be a month of writing for me: write something, every day, even if it's just a sentence.
If this works, i get to buy myself a new knitting loom.
Readysetgo!
(day 1: wrote up, for my own purposes, notes on minecraft pirate ships. Retroactively declare that as counting. Day 2: this entry. ...I am not holding myself to high standards in this. If "small successes lead to bigger successes" works as a strategy for dog training, it darn well also works for nurturing myself.)
