I have officially started teaching myself Spanish. I can't say much of anything yet, but it still makes me feel Productive, despite ... er ... not having accomplished much of anything at all for the rest of the day.

The air outside is cool enough that we have shut off the a/c and opened windows, so there is fresh air in my room, and occasional ripples of breeze.

I am lying on my very comfortable bed, in the sort of drowsy half-asleep lethargy that just feels ... nice.

(most of today has been miserable, starting with waking up with a headache, but right now I feel a pleasant sort of contentment)
