kink_bingo is over. I went into it wanting to do better than I did last year -- which, coincidentally, was my goal last year too. The previous year I'd done one story during amnesty. Last year I managed one line bingo. This year I got two!
...clearly, next year I need a blackout. /snerk/
I do still have squares or postage stamps or single-line extras flagged as something I want to write. But the last few months, most of my writing energies have been going into non-kb stuff: kinkmeme, and the merfolk ficathon story.
Not that I've actually /finished/ anything lately. The last fic I finished was a drabble halfway through September, and before that the end of August.
Sigh.
Fic of Doom, aka one of the kinkmeme fills that is waaay longer than I expected: almost 8k words and still going. It is not coming smoothly any more, and the bit I'm working on is a jump in both POV and narrative tone and I am therefore convinced it sucketh, and the bit after that is only sketched out, and beyond that I have no clue, and I'm sort of starting to resent the fic a little. I don't want to, because it's fun to play with, but argh.
Other kinkmeme wip: 1500 words and on hold for the moment.
Merfic: only 1200 words actually written, but I have more in my head. Erik has decided to have a brief interlude as wereshark idek. Raven has decided to take liberties with her abilities. The fic in my head tapdances along the line between "ridiculously adorable" and "dorkishly improbable" and it is just waaay too much fun.
Not a kinkmeme universe: this needs a brain-to-computer usb interface so I can just download it without having to write it. I want it to exist, I don't wanna have to work for it, whine whine moan etc.
Valdemar fusion: 25 words officially written. Lots more in my head. Also ridiculous and dorky and adorable and improbable and way too much fun, but the merfic has an actual deadline.
