GW2 thoughts

ysobelSo this weekend's BWE for Guild Wars 2 let us play with the other two races, Asura and Sylvari.
I like both of them waaaay more than I thought I would.
The Sylvari, aka tree-people, are totally my favorite. *drawks pink sparkly leaf-hearts around them*
And the Asura are way more adorable than I expected zomg.

Current preferences visually:
* Sylvari, both genders
* Asura, female preferred, especially with floppy ears
* long-haired human male with genderfluid mental backstory
For completionist purposes I might go with (female) Norn and (female) Charr, but I don't really like them as much.

Professiony preferences:
* engineer, aka things-go-boom aspect of rangers
* thief, just for jumpystabbiness
* elementalist
* guardian
* oddly enough, mesmer?
Again for completionist purposes I will probably end up with one of everything eventually. I am a dork.

I will probably start with a female Asura engineer and a Sylvari guardian. Maybe.

I kind of wish the GW2 BWE were a tad more like the Factions beta, in that it gave a preview of mid-level content rather than beginning content, because I'm already edging into "oh this again" territory with the starter areas. Which is part of why I haven't done more with the beta -- don't want to get burned out.
