As someone with no knowledge of comics canon, I can't comment on any transitions between events/characters/themes/whatevers that crossed media lines, but speaking as a film-IM fan, there was just so much YES. (and, well, all the feels.)
Might have more thinky thoughts later. Might not. Who knows.
(I spent the walk home trying to figure out whether I would want a Tony-Stark-designed wheelchair. 85% chance of awesome, 10% chance of omg levels of awesome, 5% chance of blowing up in spectacular ways...)
