You know what I want?

(well, one thing of many)

A robot that can pull up and down sheets or blankets while I'm lying in bed.

Because dammit, I'm tired of having to spend the entire night in the same state-of-ensheetment. If I start a summer night with the sheet off, I end up too cold around 5am. So I have to have the sheet on all the time, because I can't change it myself and I don't like bothering other people for mild whims. Same thing in winter re having the blanket up, which sometimes leads to ridiculousness like having to turn the fan on because I'm too hot with the blanket up at the beginning of the night.

(and I do at least have a fan, under my control via remote, except that it is too ... I don't know, stimulating? I am very aware of the feel of it, and it is too cold sometimes to be useful, even though it's not an air conditioner)

For whatever reason I've got a mental image of a perhaps-motorized pulley system and sheets with grommets into which can be hooked the pulley clasps, now.

With a voice-controlled RC blimp or copter, maybe?

I immediately had a similar idea, but with industrial-strength closepins instead of grommets.

Could you teach Yahtzee to do it? I know my dog is a grand master of cover-removal (though in her case it's rude rather than helpful...)

In that case a robot is definitely in order! I'm really sorry if this crossed a line into unwanted advice.
