Reading the one about why writers procrastinate, and facepalming.

The author conflates imposter syndrome with that thing where gifted children perform worse if they're praised for being smart not for trying hard, and manages to imply that women in particular deliberately seek out easier challenges so as to look better, because of imposter syndrome.

Which is a pity, because she has some really good and important things to say about how we're not taught in schools about research dead ends and failures.

Also: consulting is a highly structured job, wtf?

Apparently the article's adapted from her book. I hope she just got edited for length really badly and incoherently when they published the article.
