ysobel... I am thinking of setting the fic after wipe but before the major battle, for ultimate fun.
What Charles finds in Bucky's mind:
The surface is ice. Cold as winter and ten times as deadly, with the weight of a glacier.
The next layer is pain, and screaming, and sheer terror.
Below that there is only endless falling.
