Yeah, I watched it ^_^
... I love that dual jacket-grab. Oh, boys.
plane lolwut? (oh hey, it's Lost. I mean, uh.)
It's never good when the prophet says "oh crap".
Dean, ILU. Insurance policy.
lol slashfic. samlicker81! morethanbrothers.net! "And you're so firm. ... And you're ... not what I expected."
"Can you quit touching me?" "No." snort.
ohai bobby
"I brought this on." And Dean giving the "oh shit what's Bobby gonna do" look.
"Maybe we shouldn't have tried so hard to save him." Ow. True, but ow.
Aaaaand hell. Literally. Lucifer's in Bobby?
Meg 2.0 looks way too much like Ruby 2.0.
...and Bobby is fucking kickass. Getting enough control to stab himself. ♥ Which also means it probably was some demon or other, not Lucifer.
Baby crying. What, Lucifer has to start his meatsuit from the beginning? ...poor not-really-hallucinating guy, anyway.
wtf Dean's the michaelsword? huh?
I liked it so much better when Sam and Dean were just Normal People.
Why do angels need consent when demons don't? Or, maybe, why do demons not need consent when angels do?
Dean, ILU.
and Cas, ILU. The look on whassisname's face! And omg.
lol. "I'm a angel. My name is Lucifer." "... sure. Naturally. Um, could you do me a favor there, Satan, and remind me to quit drinking before I go to bed?"
Nick looks liek RayK. The girl ... looks familiar. *imdbs* Probably from Cold Case. Right. moving on.
"Whoever wins, heaven or hell, we're boned." "What if *we* win?" ... "How are we supposed to do all this, genius?" "I got no idea. But what I do have is a GED and a give-em-hell attitude, and I'll figure it out." Heee. And Sam's expression!
Aaaaand I don't think that was the demon talking, I think Bobby just redecided.
"I just said a buncha crap for Bobby's benefit." Oh, *Dean*.
... nnnnnnggghhhh Deeeean.
"I don't think that we can ever be what we were." Happy ending to an episode, y'all.
Sigh.
I need a hug *wry grin*

... and now I really want to revive an old (crossovery) fic idea, that I started after AHBL, never finished, but would allow me my own personal canon wherein S1 and S2 are as they are through AHBL, but then Dean doesn't actually sell his soul -- he tries, but Sam's already back -- and they kill the YED and go on being normal hunters, normal people, no special destinies, no souls in hell, no angels, just Sam and Dean (and Bobby) being themselves. I started it as a fix-it for AHBL1, worked on it over the summer, lost interest, but now I want to go write it because it would serve as a personal canon closure, so whatever happens in this season doesn't affect my happy bubble of OH BOYS.
(highlight-to-read area is very slightly spoilery for the fic; the only canon spoilers beyond season two are very vague references to the last few seasons' mytharc.)

Date: 2009-09-11 10:32 pm (UTC)My thought on why angels need consent is, they don't, otherwise Zachariah wouldn't have been trying to coerce Dean. Haven't figured out why they need any semblance of consent, though it might just come down to 'those are the rules, suck it up'.

Date: 2009-09-12 01:34 am (UTC)Re consent: Well, it's not the sort of "more like guidelines than actual rules" rule. It's an unbreakable rule; Zach isn't the sort to do something just because it's what Good Guys do. And he's pretty much leading the angels (I have no faith, so to speak, that God is necessarily in the picture at the moment) and is doing whatever he can, however he can manage it. If he didn't *need* Dean's consent, Zach wouldn't bother with coercing Dean, he'd just take him. They don't need voluntary or not-under-duress consent, they just need some technical form of yes, no matter how they gets that yes.
Though that throws a different light on Lucifer's rebellion -- by creating demons, Lucifer has a way to manipulate humans *without consent*.
(well, for values of manipulate other than "smash into itty bitty pieces and/or drive insane with angel static".)
