ysobelHere is a thing I find myself wondering, when it is lam and I'm not asleep yet so my brain is wandering strange baths.
Back in late 2019 I had a week of being very sick. Probably not stealth early covid, because it was vomiting and nothing breathing related; my potassium was out of whack and fuck knows what else. I got a UTI at some point, still don't know what actually happened.
Anyway, point being: 1 had a week where I was pretty much a complete zombie. Like, spending the day literally staring into space, couldn't hold a glass of water, probably should have gone to the ER sooner than I did, etc.
So, uh.
How on God's green earth did. I manage to *not lose my duolingo streak???*
Yes, streak freeze probably helped, but that only protects one day. Not aweek. Actively sick all day Monday, zombie mode T-Sa, fever hit Sunday afternoon, went to ER Monday. I couldn't brain basically at all, and I slept a lot. How tf did I not lose my streak?
...I guess I had priorities ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
