I got myself thinking about some of the songs from Into The Woods (original version, not the travesty of a movie) so listened to the soundtrack last night.
I remembered some of the wordplay -- "while her withers wither with her" is delightful, the Witch's whole greens patter, etc -- and I still adore a few of the tracks in particular (agony+reprise, no one is alone, children will listen), but I discovered I had completely forgotten one line:
"If the end is right, it justifies the beans!"
(lol)
