Dream

I dreamed I was at a con and leading a Robin Sachs appreciation panel, which mostly involved watching things. I had a stack of VHS tapes -- the Ethan episodes of Buffy, Galaxy Quest, a few others -- but one thing was a title I didn't recognize so I popped that in first. It was a movie about this community of living dolls that didn't know they were dolls. There was an older guy, vaguely Vincent-Price-ish, that was their master / creator, and he had done his best to set up a good life for them; but one of the dolls got out and fell in love with a human and wanted to go back to him. (Only she couldn't, but I don't know if it was because of terms of enchantment, or because doll, or because the master was just controlling, or what. (The bits of the movie I saw in the dream didn't include RS, though I speculated maybe he was the human love interest.)

The movie didn't finish in the dream but I kind of wish I knew what happened...
