The first G&A piece I did with the group in college was Ruddigore, so I found a full performance (https://youtu.be/CYf2XULLv5I?si=7IldORvtyJ5wRgJh) by The Really Authentic Gilbert and Sullivan Performance Trust. I had forgotten some things and remembered others, but in particular I forgot about the Matter Trio patter song (which gets a little fourth-wall-breaking).

And I'd forgotten it got reused for Pirates of Penzance (which was actually next on my list to watch)

...and I'd totally forgotten there was a movie of Pirates.

I love that Pirates film so much! I have both the film and the stage version it was based on on DVD. I have a particular effection for the man who plays the Police Sergant.
