So even though my self-inflicted art challenge last year didn't last all year -- I fizzled out halfway through -- I kinda want to do something similar again. I liked the structure.

...except I can't figure out exactly what, lol.

Option 1: faces, maybe cycling by month through human and cat and dog (possibly and misc). Possibly different styles, e.g. cartoony one round and realistic-er one round.

Option 2: Weekly projects, maybe different styles each month? (currently kinda obsessed with stained glass look)

Option 3: Weekly alphabet project specific to animals ... only x might be tricky, lol

Option 4: ???

The Xoloitzcuintle dog breed exists to solve your animal-alphabet dilemmas. Just sayin' :)

I hope you can work out the best option; at least you have several to choose from there! You could always switch if one gets boring or doesn't seem to be working out the way you'd hoped.

I think I'm going with the alphabet animal(s) thing. Started on a stained glass axolotl last night. Not sure if they'll all be the same style or not, but I don't have to decide today anyway.

:D It's so fun! And less messy digitally than messing with actual stained glass lol. It's a bit of trial and error to get the pattern right -- not the main shapes but the subdivisions within a shape -- but it's also a really cool effect.
