I almost didn't watch it, based on the summary, but. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was dreading what they would do with a con; I have a low-tolerance embarrassment squick. (Becky the fangirl hit it, especially in the first episode she was in.) But it ... really wasn't that bad.

not!Sam and not!Dean were an adorable couple, especially once we found out they *were* a couple, and I'm glad they got to save the day. And to drop anvils on Dean's head point out the ways the Winchester life doesn't completely suck.

Bela having given the Colt to a demon named Crowley is just asking for Good Omens xover. *cough*

Also, I kind of want fic where Dean gets around to reading the Mystery Spot book so he knows what happened. And Sam finds out about him reading it. And stuff.

Um. Yeah.

I've seen a theory that Dean already has read the Mystery Spot book and that's why he knew about the events therein last ep and why he phrased it so oddly when he brought the subject up. (I'd like to see that fic too, though.)
