shoooooes!

So one of the local shoe stores was having a three-day 30%-off-everything sale; and as I am in desperate need of some nice black dress shoes that actually /fit/ (the ones I have now are at least a size too small), I figured it was worth stopping by.

I didn't end up with any black dress shoes. There were several that looked promising but had humongous heels, which I can't really deal with easily, and one that looked promising but was meh on my foot, and a bunch that I wouldn't wear unless I were getting paid for it (and in some cases not even then).

But.

I did end up with some absolutely adorable shoes. :D

I can not get over how adorable these shoes are:

They are utterly comfy, and perfect summer shoes. \o/ *glee*

And that was going to be all, but then we found these:



(yes, one of my roommates and I have matching slippers. heee.)

What you can see is that these are fuzzy pink bunny slippers. What you can't see is that in the back there is a cottontail poofball. What you also can't see -- and what sold us on these -- is that there is an insert in the sole that you can take out, pop in the microwave for a minute, put back in, and have toasty warm feet.
