They have a booth at the local farmer's market; and last time I was there, a few weeks ago, they were right next to the coffee cart, and were offering samples of their pure chocolate torte. So after I got my coffee, I wandered over to get one of said tortes to bring home to share with the roommates. While I was there I spied something that looked suspiciously like a pumpkin something with a swirl of buttercream icing on top (it turned out to be pumpkin carrot), so I got one of those, and ... a third thing that I forget what it was.
So today, I decided to swing by for more chocolate, because it's been a rough week for all of us. Intention: two items, chocolate plus whatever else catches my fancy. And I come up, and there are -- among other things -- three chocolatey items and also something that looks kind of lemon-coconut-y.
I ask what the various chocolate items are (and it turns out there was a stealth chocolate thing, vanilla bean with chocolate inside), and also what the lemon-coconut-y thing is, which turns out to be a lemon coconut torte.
So I get one of the vanilla bean chocolate thingies, and one of the chocolate-espresso-brandy-omg tortes, and the lemon coconut one.
While she's packing that up for me (they have convenient little boxes), someone else asks about something, which turns out to be a ginger somethingorother macaroon.
...
I say what is probably not the politest word, and get one of those too. *headdesk*
...oops?
