Short brown spiky fur, except for a gold spot on his chest, and way too adorable for words.

From the ficnotes file:

I could pull in Bobby. Who'd totally be all "...he's kind of cute as a bunny, actually," and Dean kind of glowers as best a bunny can glower, and Sam's all "...yeah, but he bites, so we'd better change him back," and Dean's earflick is all "damn straight you better"

and

Sam realizes Dean's been taken by the witch, without knowing he's a bunny, so he bursts in guns blazing and is all "give me back my brother dammit" and the bunny's all "*footstomp*" and Sam's all "shit, where's Dean?" and the bunny goes "*FOOTSTOMP*" and Sam starts to panic and the bunny kind of gives this bunny snort and starts thumping rhythmically, and Sam finally realizes it's like a Metallica song or something, and that's how he figures out Dean's a bunny

(heh. afterwards: "........sam. why does the impala smell like bunny pee?" "totally not my fault, man." "...")

Oh my gods. I want to read this when it's done if it ever gets done.

And that's without knowing the first thing about SPN.... Also, Dean should be a pricky-eared bunny, not a lop-eared one.
