Loremaster progresses

However, I still have to find 250 quests in Kalimdor. And, er. Apparently, I'd done the nelf starting area (probably for rep to get a kitty); I know I've cleared Silithus, and most if not all of Un'Goro and Tanaris. Thousand Needles will have stuff, Winterspring might, Azshara might, Desolace might, Feralas I'm sure will, but argh I don't know if it will be enough.

(Then again, I was worried about EK too, and I did it without touching Redridge Mountains, so maybe it'll work out)

Date: 2010-10-28 10:54 am (UTC)Did you ever do the quests in Ratchet? Some of those can be picked up as Alliance and are easy to forget about since it's a Horde zone.
Don't forget dungeon quests. There are half a zillion of them and most of them count for Loremaster. A Dire Maul Tribute run gets you extra quests. If you've never done a tribute run, it's worth soloing for fun in any case. There are Wailing Caverns quests on Ratchet. There's also a quest that can be picked up inside Razorfen Downs, partway through the instance. You might miss it if you don't already know it's there.
I don't know how old your toon is so: if it's from before the Dustwallow revamp, there'll be tons of new quests undone there. There also might be some new things in Ashenvale, if it's from before the right part of TBC. You might also have missed the Howling Vale quest chain (the worgen one), although that eventually leads to Eastern Kingdoms. If you've never done it I'd say it's still a must do, since the lore there plays into the Gilnean Worgens' lore.
Did you ever do the Linken chain? That starts at a really random quest marker (underwater in the Ravasaur area) in Un'goro and is really long.
Zizz Fizziks' quests in Stonetalon are really easy to miss if you're Alliance. I wouldn't even know that they're open to both factions if my husband hadn't pointed it out -- you get a breadcrumb for that in Ratchet, regardless.
In Desolace, did you do the quests from the Argent Dawn member? He's next to the ruined tower (Nelf-style architecture) on the coast. Somewhere around there, there's also a log by a rowboat that offers a quest. In amongst the Centaurs by Mauradon, there's a Goblin with an escort quest -- she's really easy to miss, and I only found her the first time by accident.
When you say you'd done the Nelf area, does that include Darkshore? If so, did you get all the quests from the beached sea animals, the one from the Nelf near the Furbolgs at the very southeastern part of the zone, and the really annoying Bear Druid escort? Or the quest from the pirate Gnome in the north of the zone by the coast?
