Today's normal daily and heroic daily, in WoW, were both the same (CoS), so I did something I rarely do, and went with a random group on my hordelet hunter.
I avoid pugs for two reasons. One, they tend to suck. The other, slightly ironically given the first, is that I tend to suck, partly by not being the most efficient player but also because I am in the fun catch-22 of hitting L80: I need better gear to do more damage, but the places where I can get said gear are the places where I need to do damage. And so I like to run with people that know I am limited in that respect.
But anyway, I went with a pug, and crossed my fingers that it wouldn't be as bad as I was expecting.

I'm sure there are great pugs out there; I'm just reeeeeally not likely to try one again any time soon.
