ysobelManaged to smash my foot. Again.
(The last time was in January; my foot was riding too close to the floor, the toe of my shoe snagged on a sticky spot, and the chair kept going. This was at a leadership retreat for church stuff, which was epic lolsome, since I spent the next day in a haze of pain and vicodin, and I swear I didn't contribute much but they didn't seem to mind me being around, and then went home, and had a month or two of complete ow. I was fairly sure I'd broken something, the x-ray said I didn't but there's enough freaking bone in my body that maybe it was hidden or something, but it was Not Fun.)
... it wasn't *quite* as smushed this time, but it still hurts. Thank fuck for vicodin, is all I can say, not to mention ice packs. And this time around I *have* a walker-boot-thing that I can use -- standing on that foot still hurts like fuck, but I can do it -- which is especially good because my right leg, which is the one that took most of the weight last time, is the one that's been having thigh issues lately.
My life is Fun.
(At least this gives me a decent excuse not to go anywhere this weekend...)
