crochet stitches

This is more for my own information than anything else, but feel free to use it as reference if you'd like :)

ch - yo, pull through.

sl st - insert hook, yo, pull through both.

sc - insert hook, yo, pull through, yo, pull through both.

hdc - yo, insert hook, yo, pull through, yo, pull through all three

dc - yo, insert hook, yo, pull through, (yo, pull through two) twice

tr - yo twice, insert hook, yo, pull through, (yo, pull through two) three times

trtr - yo four times, insert hook, yo, pull through, (yo, pull through two) five times

decrease - do each stitch except for the last (yo, pull through two) rep; yo, pull through all.

turning chain - if not otherwise specified, ch1 for sc row, ch2 for hdc row, ch3 for dc row

afghan/tunisian - row 1, skip first ch / vertical loop; insert yook, yo, pull through, repeat for all stitches (loops remain on hook); ensure correct number. row 2, yo, pull through one, * yo, pull through two, rep from * to end of row
