ysobelI am looking for someone to share living space with, primarily in case of nighttime emergencies.
I am a disabled fannish thirty-something female. I need someone to be present overnight in case of emergencies, in exchange for free rent. Ideally, said someone would be able and willing to do other helpful tasks when my Personal Assistants are not around, in exchange for negotiable salary.
I live in a two-bedroom apartment in Davis, CA (sort of near Sacramento). One bedroom would be yours; kitchen and bathroom are shared; the apartment complex has a laundry facility. I would cover rent, internet, cable, utilities.
There are pets present, one dog (a black lab) and one cat (short-hair tux). Both are friendly, but not great for people with allergies. I try to keep both out of the second bedroom, with varying amounts of success -- the dog is generally okay about it, the cat tries to sneak in because she knows she's not allowed -- but hair gets everywhere, and they have free roam of the rest of the apartment.
I would love someone who is compatible with some or all of my interests -- sff, fandom, knit/crochet/yarncraft, languages/wordplay, writing, other things I can't think of at the moment -- but this is not critical.
Ideal start date is mid August, but I can be flexible.

I've never met them in person, but have known them online for a couple of years and can vouch for their character and that they're good people etc.
