ysobelWent to doctor. Didn't achieve a whole lot -- got x-rays to rule out a small fracture, which there was no sign of, so mostly it's just Weird Bodies Are Weird, Man -- but did get some drugs. Nothing spectacular, alas; steroids, and an anti inflammatory topical gel (which takes pain on/after standing from a 9.5 to a 7 or so). Referral for an ASAP evaluation for additional equipment. Instructions to keep weight off the leg until it feels better, which lol. (My left, aka problem, leg is longer and also usually the strong one. Right leg can help with standing but can't bear complete weight.)
