At this point I'm pretty sure I have sinusitis. (Evidence A: see yesterday's entry, and a similar thing happened this morning. Evidence B: it feels like my sinuses are so overpressurized they might explode. Possible evidence C: the PA of Tuesday night's entry had a sinus infection about a week ago so I may have caught it from her, dunno.)

Of course, the main treatment seems to be "drink lots of fluids and wait it out". Siiiiiigh. I mean, if it lasts for longer than a couple weeks I might need to go in to the doctor, but given how long two days with this has felt like, I think the time dilation will have me dying of old age first.

Wah.

In the grand scheme of things, I know this isn't a big deal. Yes, I feel cruddy, but it won't last, and it's not got me so sick I can't whine about it, and it's a low level sort of thing, but omg wahhh *pouts and looks miserable*

...chocolate is a valid treatment for sinusitis, right? Lots and lots of chocolate. And maybe some rum. Right?

Chocolate and rum sound like eminently sensible responses to sinusitis, especially with the rum in the form of a hot toddy.

Chocolate is a valid treatment for EVERYTHING.

Chocolate is excellent. Simply Saline spray to flush and irrigate irritated sinuses is also good and helpful and won't interfere with medication or anything, if you can get used to the feeling of it. I hope it resolves quickly.
