Karmic retribution?

ysobelI think I have pissed the universe off *somehow*.
First, there's the thing with my computer -- luckily I only went four days with no internets, but I still don't *have* it and it's going to need a new fucking hard drive and who knows how much labor cost...
Second, there's the thing with my chair and the tilt not working. And I have no clue when *that* will be fixed. And until it is, I'm terribly uncomfortable and also in danger of smashing my foot yet again because I'm positioned horribly.
Last night, there was a cricket invasion. One came out while my roommate was gone, which Kitty of Awesomeness missed for a while because she was cutely sleeping but then pounced on; one apparently came out overnight, because my roommate woke up to KoA standing guard over a dead one (which is why she is dubbed KoA, even though she does have a habit of scratching on my couch)
...and then one today that somehow wound up ON MY CHEST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING DAY (seriously, we go to toilet me and my aide goes "o.O don't move" and I go cross-eyed because there's a GIANT FUCKING BLACK BUG ON MY BOOB STARING UP AT ME AUGH.
And then we found a black widow in the kitchen.

But black widows? Not so much. And I take it you're the kind of person who doesn't like any sort of crawling insecty things?
Also, goddess I'm really sorry about your chair. That must be horribly uncomfortable and ick-inducing and probably quite painful. We definitely don't want you smashing your foot again. A smashed foot would be horrible.
I wish I could do more to help than this but...
