Meistens Deutsch, ein bißchen Russisch, und ich würde gern Welsh lernen, vielleicht auch Polish, and I know the language names are wrong and the whole thing was a bit of a butchery but at least it was maybe understandable? :D
I am just a little amused at the "bißchen" spelling - I follow the spelling reform which turned it into "bisschen" but I know many people do not, preferring the pre-1996 spellings they grew up with such as "bißchen".
The languages are "Walisisch" and "Polnisch", by the way.
Here. I blame the bißchen thing on having my first German classes in ... uh, 1989-92. And it's not a word Duo has given me yet, so I wasn't aware of any differences. So basically, it was a spelling I grew up with! For some definitions of growing up.
I am still, of course, at the point of understanding better than I can produce, and I'm still low on vocabulary and some bits of grammar, but Duo has been super helpful for getting everything back up. And it's definitely easier working with a language I'm already familiar with...
