ysobelI have been edumacamated about not needing to worry about gyms yet because I'm still low level and I need to just concentrate on levelling up for now. Which makes me feel a bit better.
My current highest level mons are a 230cp growlithe, a 219cp rhyhorn, and a 172 pidgeotto. The pidge was an evolve, the other two were captures, and none have been levelled up. Ans I just hit level 8 today woo.

...aaand then i went to the local gym, which had four 'mons, chief amon them a CP2000 Lapras. so that didn't happen.
