...wait what the what

Okay, so, remember how way back in August 2016 I had a 625 day streak on Duolingo that I lost because the servers weren't communicating with the app (I did the days, but it didn't register server side)? And at the time I wrote them going "woe, please help" but they didn't, so I grumbled a lot but accepted it.

And then recently, like a few weeks ago, I posted about passing 1000 days. Of the new streak (September 2016 onward).

Today I go into the app and get a notification that my streak freeze was used and did I want another. Which I was pretty sure I remembered to do Duo yesterday, but maybe I forgot, so whatever. Re-enabled it, grumbled a little, did today's lesson.

There are no gaps in the days it shows me doing stuff. So I figure, maybe the app didn't communicate right with the server.

And, um.

Then I noticed the streak count.

I logged into the website to make sure it wasn't just the app being weird, and saw this:

So ... I have no idea what or why or how, or why *now*, but I seem to have the old streak restored. O.o

Not complaining.

As long as it doesn't go away...
