ysobelLast night's dream: I had a choral performance that I almost didn't do because I thought I was getting a sore throat, but I was able to hold notes okay so did the performance. On my way onto stage I realized I was barefoot, even though dress code was black shoes; later I realized I had a boot on one foot but the other one was still unshod. (In both cases I was in wheelchair so not walking or standing; it was more appearance than functionality.)
Director announces first song, only the choir starts with a different song, and I (the only one who didn't know) have to scramble to find the right music. And in the middle of the performance there's a piece I hadn't seen before, in Japanese, and I decide to mouth the words but not try to sight read.
...I think my brain thinks I'm underprepared for something, lol
