I wonder if there's a music equivalent, because I will happily listen to a particular playlist over and over and over. I remember one time, probably in junior high, when I was playing a cd on repeat, and my sister was like "...but you've already listened to that" at the beginning of the second time through...

Date: 2020-07-16 02:28 am (UTC)When I samefood it's definitely a case of limited energy, though. If I could eat wildly different ingredients and cuisines every night, I would! Alas, I live alone and do my own cooking, so if I made curry chicken and rice then that's what I'm eating for the next six meals. I just don't have the resources on any level to create nine different dishes in two-meal amounts. My only option is to try to make something tasty enough that eating it six times in a row is still enjoyable. (I usually try to make two things, so I can alternate.)
Aside from pizza. Truly good pizza is one of those rare foods that I really could eat every day for a week with delight.
