CW: celebrity death



The funny: A few days ago, Twitter was trending "rip hamilton". By the time I got to it, it was about 1/3 people being relieved that it had nothing to do with Hamilton the musical, 1/3 jokes about how Alexander Hamilton has been dead a while, and 1/3 the original topic which is a dude named Rip Hamilton.

The not funny: Right now, Twitter is trending "rip grant imahara" ... and it seems to maybe be legit. I liked him in Mythbusters, plus he was only 49 (it's amazing how less old 49 seems when I'm 41 than when I was 21...) and ... meh. It's not the worst calamity of 2020, but.

Unfortunately, it is legit. He apparently died of a brain aneurysm. And yes, 49 is way too young.

As I was saying last night, COVID-19 involves blood fuckery and therefore I am predisposed to get super angry at 🟧‍💩 as a partial distraction from the rest of my feelings.
