I've been watching The Librarians (started as a rewatch but then turns out I'd seen less than half

and here's an episode where they just figured out there are vampires

and one of the characters, Jacob Stone, kinda growls "I don't like vampires"

...he's played by Christian Kane, who was (Eliot on Leverage and also) Lindsey, an evil lawyer on Angel

My amusement at this is vaster than it probably deserves.

Hah!

There will be several generations who have no knowledge of this. We'll be old and creaky watching our inner screens when Christian Kane is cast as a "cranky old man" and we'll be shouting "Watch out for the vampires!" and the Youth will be ?buh?

Just like the actors we saw playing elderly parts were dashing young folks once:

I can totally see an older Christian Kane cast as a cranky old man! Of course, he makes a pretty good cranky *young* man, so.

Actors getting older is just kinda weird though. It shouldn't be, but it is.

True facts: I love thick eyebrows. Sadly I didn't inherit my mother's, but MyGuy makes up for it.

For me it was as much the mouth as the eyebrows. Dunno why. Brains are weird :D
