ysobelRav -- which still has not acknowledged the extent of harm done, possibly for liability reasons, nor made much effort towards fixing the accessibility issues -- came out with an update on sparkly new features like Spotify integration (so necessary on a knitting site) and switching away from amazon links "because amazon".
The forum moderators are shutting down any and all rav-based commentary against the changes. Also anyone mentioning accessibility. And people asking for rule clarification. Plus, kayos who has been very vocal because accessibility, got put in "rav jail" where they can't post in any forum and can't send or receive private messages, as far as I can tell for sarcastically cheering on the hypocrisy of spending effort in a rather bizarre area instead of doing anything about the dumpster fire burning out of control.
Best part, there was something in the update that broke video posting, which was previously working. It's been fixed but there's somehow something on-brand about pushing live an unnecessary "enhancement" that just makes things worse. Maybe it's that whoever is "onsite" can do Spotify integration but can't do large scale fixes, which is a more optimistic explanation than they don't fucking intend to budge from Seizure Rav, but it's weird optics to be all chirrupy about a minor bell/whistle instead of, oh, say, making different skins so people have options they can use.
Needless to say, a lot of people are Not Happy that this is where they are putting their energy.
