Last night's dream:
I dreamed about a retreat to learn plant stuff... there was this handheld device, a blocky rectangle with two metal prongs that would zap the seedlings to stimulate growth.
Someone has spilled bleach in the clothing pile so my dark blue pants had white splotches. It was a bit awkward.
The rest is CW bugs (moth type)
Also at one point we were outside and something that wasn't quite a moth, pretty and fuzzy and soft, was fluttering gently against the corner of my right eye; after a bit I got nervous about what it was doing so I used my left hand to scoop it away, and then it started laying eggs in my wrist, under the skin but not actually in the joint. My wrist grew this large red lump that didn't hurt and weirdly didn't bother me. I guess eventually there would have been baby moths? but the dream didn't last that long.
After I woke I was amused at not being bothered by becoming a host to moth eggs, and was telling my aide who wondered if maybe it was using some sort of calming phenomenon on the hosts... that would make a good horror concept, especially if hosting did permanent damage...
Anyway.
A thing I have noticed about my dreams is that if "maybe X could happen" pops into my head, it generally steers the dream that direction. Like, awake, my brain generates a bunch of "maybe"s but knows they aren't real, but dreaming, the reality/fantasy sense is turned off, and also my brain is generating the content, so a "maybe" pops up and becomes real. It's like... that voice you get going "you could step (or fall) off this cliff" or "you could swerve off road into the river" or whatever... is suddenly in control of *everything*.
I remember in last night's dream feeling the flutter and knowing it was harmless, then suddenly thinking "I bet it's laying eggs on me"... and that thought caused the dream to shift so it was.
