Dear brain:

I am pretty certain that the patter trio from Ruddigore doesn't actually lead into either the Scarlet Pimpernel musical or the second movement of the Brahms Requiem. Please stop insisting it does.

Not only is there a movie of Pirates of Penzance (see prior entries), it turns out there's a movie of Ruddigore. With Vincent Price. And I seem to own a copy.

I know what I'm doing tomorrow...

(I have to make a couple phone calls first. Watching a thing is my reward.)

Speaking of things to watch, I heard a noise that turned out to be my roommate running the handheld vacuum, but my brain first registered it as "tree trimmer, outside", and I mentioned as such to my aide, adding that tree trimming seemed odd "at night", to which I then added "through eel-infested waters".

That (Princess Bride) is another movie I want to (re)watch soon.

It strikes me that the Dread Pirate Roberts is very similar in some ways to the Pirates of Penzance... which is a fic I am not writing, lol
