Bread pudding is amazing.

Bed is too, but for different reasons.

Sheet can be used as a verb. This is somewhat baffling.

I do not think I will ever get the hang of distinguishing Spanish demonstratives -- remembering which is which between este (this) and ese (that), remembering aquel (that over there) exists, remembering that while the m.pl form is estos but the m.sg form is este but esto exists but is non gendered and /disappears in confusion/

Also I need to make a chart for verb endings because I was okay with simple present conjugations -- not that there's only one, but -o was always first person singular and, well, it was o as a amos an, or o es e emos/imos en, or sometimes there was stem changing like podir becoming pued-, and of course there were irregular verbs, but it mostly made sense -- but now we're getting into past (preterite) and suddenly 1sg is -é or -í, and -ó (or -ió) is 3sg and flailcakes

and it feels like I will never be conversationally capable in Spanish but um it's only been a few months still (140 days! yes I still have a duo streak going; it's sort of wobbly-feeling in the way these things get when I am close to crashing, and part of me thinks I should just deliberately miss a day to break the streak, but eh, I'm curious.) and generally speaking it is pretty implausible to reach conversational competence this soon given that I'm not doing immersion or anything.
