ysobelMost of today went into a sigma-filtered post, but my today can be summed up with this, which just happened:
When I'm around on Friday nights, I usually have Ghost Whisperer and Medium on, more for lulz than anything else.
Turn it on, and -- soundtrack, no audible dialogue. At first I'm thinking it's supposed to be a Dramatic Montage, kind of like the things that happen in the middle of House or whatever; but then I turn on closed captioning, and, hey, words.
Commercials come on normal.
Show comes back, no dialogue.
I fiddle with sound settings; my intent is to go from stereo to mono, but SAP comes in between, and voila, sound.
...that is about off-sync, half a second in advance of the video.
*makes whimpering noises*
(the whole day has been like this, more or less.)
ETA: And one of my drinking straws just broke. In a very nonpredictable place. While I was using it. wtfff, universe.
